How lessons work

I teach English and Russian as foreign languages. I usually recommend two lessons a week plus homework. This gives you the right spacing to remember new material and revise what you’ve already learned. If you prefer, we can also meet once or three times a week—it depends on your goals and schedule.

Lessons are online, on any platform that’s convenient for you: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet. With beginners, we the target language for about 30–50% of the lesson; with more advanced students, the lesson is fully in the target language.

You can either reserve a regular time slot and buy a lesson package, or book lessons one by one if that suits you better. A lesson lasts 50–60 minutes.

  • Package lesson: €40
  • One-off lesson: €50 All lessons are 100% prepaid.

The first trial lesson usually lasts 80–90 minutes because we do a short level check, discuss your goals and preferences, and sort out practical details. It costs the same as a standard one-hour lesson—it’s simply a bit longer. The trial lesson doesn’t commit you to anything: afterwards you can take your time and decide whether you’d like to continue.

To book your first trial lesson, message me in telegram or write me an email.

Consultations (one-off sessions)

If you’re not ready to study regularly and want to solve one specific problem, you can book a consultation. You already know you can study English with me 1:1—consultations are another format I offer online.

Who is it for?

For example:

  • you’re already learning English and have a question you want to finally разобраться properly
  • you’ve reached an intermediate level and don’t know what to focus on next

What you can come with (and get a clear result right away)

  • You want to study independently and need a plan and strategy to start with
  • You don’t know your level and want to figure it out — we’ll do a quick assessment and I’ll give you a list of priority topics that will move you forward fastest
  • You’re preparing for an exam, but your mock tests keep coming up short and you want to adjust your prep strategy (I prepare students for B2 First, C1 Advanced, IELTS, and TOEFL)
  • You have a presentation or job interview in English coming up and want to prepare and practise
  • You study regularly but one topic is blocking your progress and you want to fix that gap
  • You want to organise your knowledge, connect the dots, and use it confidently in speaking
  • You feel overwhelmed by the number of resources out there and want to know what to use and where to start in your situation

These are just a few examples—every request is different, and the solution should be tailored too.

One consultation can save you a lot of time, effort, and money.

To book a consultation, message me in DM. A short description of your request is enough at first—I’ll ask a few follow-up questions.

Consultation fee: €70 / 60 minutes. After payment, we’ll choose a time, I’ll prepare everything we need, and we’ll meet online on a convenient platform.

After the session, I’ll send you a file with notes and extra materials, so you’ll have a clear action plan to follow.

If you’re unsure whether you want to start regular lessons, the best option is to begin with a consultation. To book a consultation, message me in telegram or write me an email.
